Melly & Jacob — what a team! While I was shopping around for vendors, I found Melly on the Arkansas Brides instragram page and DM’d her. She messaged back IMMEDIATELY and was so, so sweet. At first, I wasn’t sure I was interested in videography, but after talking to Melly for a bit, she convinced me how special it was to have a keepsake that allowed you to relive your big day, and I’m so glad I listened to her! Melly and Jacob captured our day FLAWLESSLY and I could not be happier with the results. Not only did we get a perfect video, I got SOOOO many photos— more than ANY of my married friends ever received! The only downside is that I love them all and can’t decide which ones to frame!!! They were so easy to work with, make you feel so comfortable in front of the camera, and the results are absolutely amazing. If I could rate them more than 5 stars, I would!!!!!!!

Melly and Jacob are the best team! Melly made us feel so comfortable during our engagement shoot and I couldn't have asked for better photos. SO many people have asked me where we went because she has such a good eye for setting the scene. We took some photos with our dog, and somehow she even got him to stay still and look at the camera. On our wedding day, they captured every little precious moment. They were so helpful with posing us, but also capturing true candid moments. We decided last minute to add video on to our package and I am so thankful we made that decision. My mom still cries every time she watches the video because it really captures the essence of that day. When I first started looking for vendors, I was so overwhelmed because everything seemed too expensive, but the cheaper options seemed like our photos would be rushed or not really what I wanted. Melly + Jacob have the highest quality of work, but are actually much more reasonably priced than comparable photographers. Also, they give you so much photo time on your wedding day. They are definitely worth it! I never dreamed that my wedding photos could look how they do. They really made my husband and I feel like models haha. Plus, Melly and Jacob are awesome humans and they were just fun to be around, which is something you definitely want when you're taking a million photos and its hot. I seriously have no complaints from my experience; if I ever need photos again, I will come to them!

Melly is the absolute best wedding photographer/videographer. Searching for vendors for my wedding day isn't the easiest task. But ever since I messaged her inquiring about prices and information, she was extremely quick to respond. Along with always getting back to me, she is helpful when it came time to find the perfect location for our engagement pictures. Our engagement pictures came back and I had very high standards. But Melly completely surpassed all expectations. It was so hard trying to narrow down my favorite pictures from the shoot. And our engagement video completely captured both mine and my fiancé’s personality. We are so thankful to have these memories captured to cherish for the rest of our marriage together. And finally, Melly is BY FAR the best and most fair pricing. I didn’t realize how overpriced some photographers can be. But Melly is the absolute best at what she does, but she doesn’t inflate her prices. Melly will do whatever it takes to capture your vision and make you happy. I am so thankful I decided to have her do my photos, best decision I’ve made so far in the wedding planning process.

Where do I even start?! Melly had a photoshoot day prepared for us and it was so much more than just taking pictures. We had so much fun, had so many fun conversations, and got to explore all while she captured our personalities. It didn’t even feel posed. "Melly is such an amazing photographer. From day 1 when I first messaged her, she was polite and so friendly. It felt like I was talking to my best friend. When we took our engagement photos, she was a lady with a plan. We visited a couple different sites and she made that experience so fun for us. Our wedding wasnt for a couple months later and she kept in touch with me the whole time just to make sure I was doing ok. Come wedding day, she showed up early and even stayed way longer than expected just to make sure we got exactly what we wanted and needed. Melly is very organized and knows what needs to be done. Her pictures come out looking amazing. There hasn't been 1 single picture that I have not liked. She knows exactly what needs to be in the background, how we should pose, or shouldn't pose and what angles look best.
